NewStory Care

If Jesus needed care, we all need care

When you’re going through a hard season, from losing a loved one or a job to health struggles, NewStory wants to help.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

2 Corinthians 1:3–4

Why care matters

We all need care

Made for community

We’re made to love, help and care for one another. From the very beginning, being alone wasn’t enough for Adam. Even Jesus asked His friends to stay close and pray with Him in Gethsemane.

Called to care

If you follow Jesus, you’re called to show care. “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18). Jesus put it beside the greatest command, to love God (Matthew 22:36–40).

If Jesus needed care, we all need care.

Finding hope in simple things

Crystal’s story

When Crystal’s husband faced depression, she turned to God for help. Simple kindness, like sunflowers and homemade chicken soup, brought him hope and joy. It revealed her gift of encouragement, and she started NewStory Care to help others through hard seasons.

What happens next

Your request stays private

A pastor reads every care request and will reach out to you. Your request is only shared with the care team if you say it’s OK.
